I Know That Trivia

Privacy

I Know That Trivia keeps simple, anonymous statistics so we can see how the site is used and improve the questions. We don't use cookies, we don't use advertising or tracking services, and we don't collect anything that identifies you.

What we count

Group Play

To run a group game, our server keeps the name each player picks, their answers and their scores for that game, so everyone's screen can show them. That's all: no accounts, no email addresses, and names aren't linked to anything else. A game and everything in it is deleted within about 6 hours of its last activity. Your browser keeps a random code for a few hours so you can get back into the game if you refresh or lose your connection. We also count games started and finished, and how many players took part, in the anonymous statistics above.

Contact Us

If you send us a message with the Contact Us form, we keep your name, email address, the topic and your message so we can reply. It's emailed to our support inbox and also kept on our server for 90 days, then deleted. We only use your details to answer you, and never add you to a mailing list or share them.

Tips

Tips are handled by Ko-fi, a separate service with its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details, and nothing from Ko-fi is loaded on this site until you choose to visit it.

What we don't keep

Opting out

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no statistics are sent at all.

Statistics are kept for about 13 months, then deleted.
